Boy, ya?

In our continuing efforts to ensure members of the public are aware that Scarlett is indeed a girl, we have trialled a number of techniques; dressing her head-to-toe in pink, wearing dresses and wearing headbands. One would assume this would be enough. Here in Singapore, it isn't. More often than we would like to admit, we hear the familiar refrain of, "boy, ya?" from the locals.

This of course calls for drastic measures. We have recently taken to putting Scarlett's hair in clips. This technique has proved remarkably successful so far. The only potential disadvantage is the phenomenon known as 'clip-hair' (as seen above). Once said clips are removed, the hair seems confused and remains up in the air.
