Marble Run

Our present to Griff (which Scarlett is no doubt benefiting from too) was a marble run. Most importantly, Griffin absolutely loves it. Scarlett enjoys it from time to time, but it will be Griff running to where it is stored, asking to pull it out and set it up more often than not.

Just quietly, Miles and I enjoy it almost as much as G does!

It has been great to see his vocab develop, as he gets lots of opportunity to use some of his favourite phrases:

Oh no! Wha' happened?

's Ok, juss try, try.

My turn.

Oh no! Stuck!

Oh! Broken!

The big yellow dish is a firm favourite - the marble spins around and around in ever-decreasing circles until it disappears down the hole in the middle. Makes lots of good rolling noises too.

Scarlett's mastered the art of rolling the marble around the edges of the yellow dish, while Griffin's marbles make a straight bee-line for the hole. Griffin likes reading the brochures that came with them, and sits quite happily pouring over them.

All in all it's been a neat toy, and I hope they will get plenty of enjoyment from it for years to come.
