Baby you can drive my scooter

One of the obvious bonuses about having your grandparents come to stay from miles away is that more often than not, they bring presents! Scarlett's approach goes something like this:
Present? For MeeEeeeEeeeEE?
Close a eyes Mummy?

She then closes her eyes (with more than a little bit of peeking now and then) and holds out her hand for the present. See below



When she opened her eyes this time, there was a dinky little scooter! Here is Scarlett opening it and trying it out.





She is one speedy demon on this scooter, let me tell you. We decided to buy a helmet before we let her take it outside, as she's liable to do herself some serious damage without one. Luckily for us, she loves her helmet, and didn't want to take it off. Just as well too - the other day she was so busy looking at her scooter that she walked into the wall! The helmet made her bounce off with nary a bruise.
