Bookworm

Scarlett's still big on books, as you can see. Annoyingly, she requests mostly those terribly old learn-to-read ladybird books that Raquel's friend donated to us. Remember? "Here is Peter. Here is Jane. Here is Pat the dog" etc etc. Scarlett's also mad keen on Maisy anything, so Maisy books are popular too. Thankfully there are a few gems she likes in the mix, including a lovely one that Boops gave her for Christmas called 'No kisses for Daddy' and a great book called 'Hooray for Fish'. She is quite good about saying the words that repeat/rhyme and makes us laugh with her pronunciation. For example, she'll say, "Bott Potts" for Bottomley Potts all covered in spots.
