Halloween Part 1: Trick or Treat.
One of the lovely teachers at CIS (Nicole) offered to make Scarlett a Halloween costume. I thought to myself, ‘brilliant, now I don’t have to do anything!’ Despite not even having a sewing machine, she whipped up a gorgeous outfit which had Scarlett looking like Pebbles from the Flintstones. Wahoo Nicole!
The first in the Halloween calendar for any CIS baby is the Canadian International School Trick or Treat Tailgate. Each child who wants to participate brings a bag of candy to school during the week. The parent community then parks designated cars/motorbikes in the school car park and decorates them in a scary fashion. Students then turn up after school and trick or treat around the car park.
The parents go ALL OUT with their decorations, as you can see! It was a whole lot of fun and Scarlett loved it.
