Little Monkey

It's been a long time between posts I'm sorry. That's largely due to our recent purchase of a Mac. After years of using PCs, we're finding the transition a little more of a challenge than we expected [where for example is right click?].

Once again, Scarlett managed to sneak off and wreak havoc while Miles and I thought the other was watching her. This time around she got into the baby wipes and pulled them ALL out and threw them far and wide. Following that, she climbed in under the change table and started hiffing nappies. She thought she was pretty clever, let me tell you. Big smile on her face.

She's getting some giant molars in at the moment; one down the bottom is completely through and 2 upstairs are halfway there. Perhaps this is why she's refusing such delicacies as scrambled eggs, mashed potato and risotto in favour of bread, rice cakes and other chewable foodstuffs? It's extremely frustrating that things she devoured last week are shoved away this week. Especially when they are lovingly homemade. Sigh. At least she sleeps through the night.

Oh, and did I mention her favourite words of the moment? "No-no-no-no-no-no-no" (accompanied by vigorous shaking of head when being fed something she objects to), "GOG" (for all of the following: dogs, the sound of dogs barking, toy dogs she has been given and puzzle pieces of a blue dog), "Gak" (for cat), "GAH" (for car, and pretty well everything else).

I hope to show you some images of Scarlett dancing in the future, as it is hilarious to watch. She bounces up and down like a bad rapper (perhaps some bad modelling by her parents?) and swings around like a morris dancer. Has to be seen really.
