Day 1: Kuta Beach.
Griffin didn't want to put his feet in the sand (I'm afraid to say!), but after the initial shock wore off, he was away laughing. It was a stunning day - not too hot, not too crowded, so it was perfect.

This was the lounge of our hotel room. The layout was just what the Doctor ordered, as the kids had this lovely big space to play in.

Scarlett doing the same:
Squishy brother-sister hugs.
Griffin would run up to Scarlett and give her a big hug. He kept doing it so many times in a row. Scarlett, for her part, would say, "Griffin is my gorgeous, Mummy, Griffin is my gorgeous!"
Day 2: Sanur Beach

We would usually chill out at the hotel in the afternoon, as they had this great waterslide. Scarlett was absolutely fearless.
Day 3: SeminyakOne of my favourite restaurants in Bali is Ku De Ta. It has a stunning beach-front location and is well set up for patrons to head down to the beach and return to the sun loungers in the middle. We had a fantastic brunch there, then took the kids down to the beach, and returned an hour later to pick up our stuff. They have a shower and foot shower on the way back in which Griffin loved playing in.

All in all, an amazing holiday, and we are planning a return visit at some stage. Soon, I hope!
