Another blog hiatus I'm struggling to find new excuses to explain... Apologies. Below are some photos of my lovelies doing what they do best: in Scarlett's case, watch DVDs; and in Griffin's, smile and play with his toes.

Each are managing to ensure we get a broken night's sleep every night in their own special way. Since Scarlee has been sick, she's taken to waking up crying circa 2am, then tears down the hallway to our room for cuddles. Her redeeming feature is that she goes back to sleep with no protestation once cuddles have been duly administered.

Griffin, for his part, has decided there is FAR too much to do in the world to sleep past 5am, and has decided that if he's going to be awake, so will Miles and I (a pox on all baby monitors!). His redeeming feature is that he is genuinely so happy to see you that he breaks into giggles and smiles the moment you appear to pick him up. Lucky he's cute we say...

Useless but interesting fact: Griffin & Scarlett are both wearing the same size nappies! Scarlett's a skinny-minny and Griffin is a little pork pie. What can ya do?
